Scope: British Car Auctions have undergone significant change and growth simultaneously. The leadership team were looking to re-shape the finance organisations both in Europe and in the UK.

Solution: Retained searches were critical for all roles in Europe, whilst working exclusively on UK-based roles to attract A+ talent to their office in Farnham, Surrey.

Interim Management Guide & FAQs

Our Interim practice prides itself on delivering world class service to its bank of interim managers. We understand there have been a number of legislative changes in the last year so felt it was appropriate to add an FAQ section in order to assist with any questions big or small. We have also added a user guide to our payroll process for established contractors of Ignata Finance or if this is your first time working with us.

For every contract role, we undergo an IR35 assessment with the client, using the Government CEST tool, to determine whether the role falls inside or outside. We will then provide you with the determination document for your records.

Umbrella Companies: How do these work and what do I use?

If your role falls inside IR35, you have the option to either be paid PAYE as a contractor via Ignata Finance, or via a third party such an Umbrella company. We have invested time in building relationships with a number of Umbrella companies, all of whom have been vetted and are accredited members of APSCo, FCSA or Professional Passport. As a result, we have managed to agree preferable rates on behalf our contractors. For our PSL please contact support@ignata.com and we can put you in touch.

Limited Company Contractors

If the role you are placed into is outside of IR35 scope you can continue to use your limited company. We require certain documentation in order to process this which can be found here.

References

We require two year’s worth of references for you. This will either need to be your line manager if you worked directly, or the consultant who was your contact if the assignment was via an agency. If you have had a significant period of time out of work we may ask for a personal referee.
